11th FOIOA Winners Announced - Humans In The Loop bags the Best Feature Film

The winners of the 11th FOI Online Awards were announced this evening, on February 6, 2026. The annual online poll, which considers votes from an exclusive community of cinephiles, unveiled its nominations on January 23, 2026.


Aranya Sahay's Humans In The Loop secured the topmost honor of Best Feature Film, along with title for Best Writing - Original (Sahay). Neeraj Ghaywan's Homebound & Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar topped the tally with the most wins (in 3 categories each). While Ghaywan's directorial earned titles in the categories of Best Direction, Best Writing - Adapted (Ghaywan, Basharat Peer, Sumit Roy, Varun Grover & Shreedhar Dubey) & Best Actor in a Leading Role (Ishaan Khatter) - Dhurandhar swept the categories of Best Production Design, Best Make-Up & Hair Styling & Best Action Direction.


The announcement also marked the introduction of FOIOA’s first-ever Spotlight Mention honour, aimed at recognising achievements in crafts beyond the usual award categories. This year, the honour was given for excellence in post-production colour grading to Sidharth Meer, Himanshu Kamble, and Prithvi Buddhavarapu of Bridge PostWorks for their work on Jugnuma: The Fable & Second Chance.

Best Cinematography: Second Chance (Swapnil Suhas Sonawane)

Best Film Editing: Sister Midnight (Napoleon Stratogiannakis)

Best Sound Design & Mixing: Stolen (Susmit Bob Nath, Vipul Nigam & Niladri Shekhar Roy)

Best Music Direction - Score: Ghich Pich (Ritwik De)


Best Music Direction - Album: Metro... In Dino (Pritam)

Best Original Song: Saiyaara, Saiyaara (Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, Arslan Nizami & Irshad Kamil)

Best Lyricist: Amitabh Bhattacharya, Qayde Se, Metro... In Dino

Best Make-Up & Hair Styling: Dhurandhar (Preetisheel Singh D'Souza)

Best Visual Effects: Jugnuma: The Fable (Varun Ramanna)

Best Choreography: Birangay, Azaad (Bosco Leslie Martis)
